The Look Book for Fall'05 - (E)

Now, we have come to one of my favourite looks.

The Doll-ish Girl

The doll-ish look is characterised by big buttons, baby doll cuts and cropped hems.
There were tons of babydoll dresses and tops, and tons of big buttons on jackets, puffy sleeves, Peter Pan collars and tons of cropped jackets etc.

The look is young, yet sophisticated enough for women of any age to carry off.

There were also polka dots, which are girly, but don't overdose. Mermaid coats (cropped coats with flared ends) also fit into this look.So do bows and ribbons.

Collections from Betty Jackson and Zac Posen are perfect examples of this dolly trend.
