Haute Couture A/W 2005

Chanel
I loved the dolly looks of the models, from the bouffant-ish hairdos to the ribbon ties and the big round earrings. The collections was signature Chanel - with tweed suits again, and little black dresses galore. Very girly and a tinge of Lagerfeld injected punk here and there.

Absolutely love the look. The makeup, the earrings and the hair.

The little tweed dress among all the tweed suits.

Absolutely love the classic LBD.

Very Lagerfeld. Loads of embellishments for that glamourous, sexy look.

Armani
Mainly suits. Suits had a sexier silhouette than the Chanel tweed collection. Not a fantastic couture collection.

Very sexy and glamourous.

Dior
Insipiration from everywhere. Oriental, Victorian, Dance, Goth, Bridal influences.

The New Look revisited.

Dancers on the runway.

A glitter-ball of colours exploded somewhere.

Givenchy
Gothic and gloomy. Pieces were hardly inspiring. Dresses mostly were very simple. Hardly any strong pieces.

Indescript black gown.

Patent boots and Victorian ruffled blouse. The best outfit.

Lacroix
Pieces were elaborately designed and intricate. Luxurious coats over delicate dresses. A little bit of grecian draping, a little bit of 80s pouf

Baroque style.

Grecian-esque bride.
