Judith Leiber

I just watched a show on television not too long ago about the shopping scene in Singapore (for Singaporeans, it was the on Channel 8 on Wed at 8pm). I was absolutely taken in when they introduced Judith Leiber clutches from the "Bag Bar" at Paragon. (a very interesting concept shop)

The intricate handiwork of the crystal clutches from the Hungarian designer were magnificient and the different styles are so enchanting, from the simple rectangular mono-coloured clutch to the baroque style lion shape clutch. The range is exquisite and there's something for everyone, whether you like it loud or classic.

Each clutch is handmade and takes 6 months to complete, thus the prices are undestandably steep with them ranging from $2000 to $8000. They have been seen on the arms of famous and fashionable women, as well in the permanent collections of he world’s finest museums.

I love the whimsical shapes of the violin and the peacock one and adore the rectangular patterned clutches at the Bergdorf Goodman store. These handbags are definitely the epitome of timelessness and sophistication. A status symbol for the accomplished woman.
