Runway looks for less

Unless you are as wealthy as Lindsay Lohan (who can dress up in Fall's Monique Lhuiller Paisley dress in her music video), you probably don't get to purchase many high-end fashion pieces.

But, with just a little digging and searching, you can get runway looks for less. Easy peasy.

This LAMB Cashmere Turtleneck is about Victorian goth while Cavalli's gown is about Chinese antiques, but they both looks so alike, I can't help but put them together.

If you're into Chloe's English countryside meets Victorian blouse, how about this Necessary Objects™ Tie Back Shirt priced at $38.00, possibly ten times less the price tag than the high fashion piece.

This Free People Embroidered Henley may have a different neckline and cut of the Cacherel top, but it has the similar folksy detail and at $42, you can easily accessorise with belts to improvise.

If you read my blog often, you know I'm not a Juicy Couture fan. But I'm rather impressed with this Juicy Couture Long Sleeve Ruffle Blouse which has that voluminous bowtie front seen on the runways of YSL Rive Gauche. The sheer material and the extra victorian-esque detailing at the sleeves is really quite swoon-worthy.

So the next time before you hit the malls, check out your favourite runway looks then scour the racks for more affordable finds.
