Lindsay is rumoured to be the new Chanel girl

Now we know why Lindsay Lohan lunched with supermodel Kate Moss the other day, she was getting tips on how to be a Chanel girl.

Lindsay Lohan was recently photographed by Karl Lagerfeld – and it's rumoured that she'll star in the next Chanel campaign. "I'm so excited," she told reporters. "It's amazing."

Meanwhile, Karl Lagerfeld was apparently miffed when Ashley Olsen turned up late to his show in New York this week – and then failed to recognise him. She will not be awarded the chance of a second audience, we hear.

My Ambition

Long a collector of decorative arts, Paul Smith shakes up the merch at 9 Albemarle Street, the name and address of his new London store, a shoebox of a shop dedicated to all things kitsch. Reflecting his magpie nature, Smith has assembled one-of-a-kind items from across the decades and continents, ranging from flea-market-found buttons, mirrors and teacups to antique furniture reupholstered in his signature prints. The store is cleverly located between high-end Bond Street and cutting-edge Dover Street, home of Rei Kawakubo's Dover Street Market, meaning shoppers can get their old-school fix while nabbing their forward finds.

This is the kind of store I dream about owning one day.

I heart hate clubbing

It's alright if you're not on the guest list. Who cares? You can still have fun with your own anti-clubbing gang. Cindez is your uniform :)

Festive drinking

Fifty years ago, men ordered Manhattans, women drank Mai Tais, and no one brought guns to school. The logic is irrefutable; Margaret Berry urges you to drink well in The Case for Cocktails.

It is an old article, but I still enjoyed it. Now get me some peaches for that Bellini!
P.S. Puking at Christmas is not cool.

Jesus = Fashion Icon?

Religion has always been factored into fashion. The Jesus shirts, the laughing buddha and what-was-that-redstring-Madonna-thing? Ahh, Kabbalah. Well,guess it's no surprise to see the Hindi elephant-headed deity Ganesh in this Ganesh Cameo Pendant Necklace or Buddha in a Long Life Necklace. Ahh, I won't be surprised to if I see Jesus on your tabletop for Christmas either.
