S/S 06: Bible study

The moment I saw this dress from Jessica Odgen's S/S 06 collection, I immediately thought of Joseph's multicoloured coat, as written in the bible. I looked at the shoes, and there you go - those slippers that the desert dwelling Middle Easterners wore at that time too! (at least that's how they looked like in Bible pictures)

All I need is a walking stick and a camel and you've got the perfect costume for Catholic school.

Meanwhile, one of my serious obsessions in Spring would be blouses and dresses with this kind of tuck-out detail. Very slouchy and chic - and also very Middle East.
