A little bit of period details was seen on several collections on the runway for fall, and I think there could be many more to expect soon.
High drama with Alexander McQueen's heavy dresses and brocade fabrics.
Rich and elegant dresses and renaissance style man dressing (with a modern touch - love the cropped leather) made Dolce & Gabbana one of the leading collections for Fall, at least in my opinion.
